Why the prices are public
Crescent started in 2012 after the owner spent ten years at a company whose prices depended on the neighborhood. The founding rule was a price list anyone could read.
How that changes the visit
The plumber is not quoting on the spot and is not paid on commission, so the number at your door is the number on the website. If the job is not on the list, the quote is written, itemized and good for 30 days.
Every truck carries the parts for the top 40 jobs, which is why most visits are finished the same day. Every plumber is an employee with a New York master or journeyman license. Apprentices ride along for a year before they work alone.
The warranty
Two years on labor, in writing, on every job. Fixtures and equipment carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we register for you. If something we installed leaks, there is no visit fee and no argument.
